As a user experience professional with over a decade of design experiences in global marketing, corporate branding, video and visual communications, I am committed to creating meaningful and human-centered products and day to day services. 

I am passionate about research, conceptualization, UI (user interface) design, prototyping, testing and validation. As creativity is a collaborative force, a fundamental part of my design process is the practice of connecting the dots and cross pollinating from a wealth of resources. MY CREATIVITY,

and inspiration arrives in a strange mix of forms and forces. I often find myself visually inspired by the compositional symmetry of Wes Anderson, the minimalistic approach of Saul Bass, to the colour obsessions of Wong Kar-Wai. I am fascinated by the deconstruction and reconstruction of creative mash-ups and I thrive when I am in search for connections between unlikely concepts, visual patterns, fractals, tessellation, and the drip and splash of Jackson Pollock. Beyond the realm of visuals, I am captivated by the casual, surreal musings of Murakami, the psychological observations on the marvels and flaws of the mind by Daniel Kahneman, to the stylistic thematic variations of Thomas Newman. I find flow when I start small, and creative opportunities when I daydream. This helps me generate ideas and to trust the process in order to move closer to a breakthrough.

I practice yoga and enjoy hiking out in the wilderness. I eat congee for breakfast to start my creative day right and I grew up playing classical piano, which has built an innate desire to stay connected to film and music. When I am not designing, I am a reader, writer speaker, a hunter for knowledge and visually contrasting forms. Reflecting on the means and the ends to a good life, I am consumed by wander-lust, and an obsession with cookies, tennis and anything dance.

Communication Design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and I have over 12 years of creative design experience in global marketing, corporate branding, video, and visual communications. I have worked with brands such as Microsoft, Diageo, Avianca, AFL, Discovery, Molson Coors, Elizabeth Arden, Maple Leaf and much more. These brands range in verticals from retail, health, financial services, utility & energy, travel, to media & entertainment. I am relentlessly story driven, I design with empathy and I am in constant pursuit of bridging high-level concepts with real-world execution. I have been fortunate to be mentored by, and work alongside talented directors from the music, publication and film world, which have influenced my work.
